Late on a Friday afternoon, Old Newton Village Hall found themselves with a door handle that had broken clean off. With events due to take place over the weekend, there was a real chance the building might have had to close its doors and cancel bookings.
The hall team picked up the phone to ABS. Within minutes Martin was on his way. He arrived, fitted a new handle, checked the door was secure and made sure the hall could be used safely.
It was a straightforward job, but one that made a big difference. Thanks to a quick response and a simple repair, the community did not lose access to a well used space that many rely on for gatherings and activities.

I phoned Martin this evening, Friday 5 pm. The door handle of the village hall came off in my hand. I didn't hold a lot of hope! Then I thought of ABS and Martin. I called him and 20 minutes later he arrived. Fitted a new handle and now the hall is secure and can be used this weekend without cancelling any arrangements.
