We’ve recently completed a full conservatory project for a customer in Attleborough, starting from the ground up and finishing with a clean, practical space that can be used all year round.
With any project like this, getting the base right is key. We started by constructing a brand new base, including a damp proof membrane, insulation and a concrete screed to create a solid, reliable foundation.
From there, we built an insulated brick cavity wall, giving the structure proper strength and helping retain heat, which makes a big difference to comfort throughout the year.
We supplied and fitted black-on-white uPVC A-rated double glazed windows along with a set of French doors. This combination works well on properties like this, keeping the outside appearance in line with the home while giving a clean, bright finish inside.
The A-rated glazing helps improve insulation and energy efficiency, while also making the space quieter and more comfortable to use day to day.
Inside, we fitted new white window boards throughout to keep everything consistent and tidy. We also installed electric sockets, making the space far more usable for everyday living.
These small details often make the biggest difference, turning a conservatory into a space you actually use rather than just look at.
The conservatory roof was glazed using Ecoclean blue glass, which helps reduce glare and keeps the temperature more stable inside. Everything was leaded and sealed neatly onto the existing bungalow wall for a proper, watertight finish.
The end result is a space that looks right, feels comfortable and will last, built properly from start to finish.
