Irish Oak Composite Doors Installed in Bressingham
Two matching Cornwall composite doors in Irish Oak were recently installed at this Bressingham property, combining traditional detailing with the performance and security of modern composite doors.
Matching composite doors with traditional detailing
The ABS Home Improvements team recently completed this two-door installation in Bressingham, Norfolk.
At the front of the property, we supplied and fitted a Cornwall composite entrance door in Irish Oak with an adjoining top light featuring Astragal bars. Dorchester decorative glass adds character while the black Monkey Tail handle and bull ring knocker provide a traditional finishing touch.
A matching Cornwall stable door was also fitted at the property. Finished in the same Irish Oak colour with Dorchester glass and a black Monkey Tail handle, it gives the two entrances a consistent appearance.
The combination of warm Irish Oak, decorative glazing and traditional black hardware works particularly well with the property's red brickwork.

Black Monkey Tail handles add character to both doors, with a bull ring knocker completing the front entrance door.
Cornwall composite front entrance door
The new front entrance combines the Cornwall door style with an adjoining top light. Astragal bars divide the top light into three sections and help the new installation sit comfortably within the proportions of the original opening.
Dorchester decorative glass is paired with a black Monkey Tail handle and bull ring knocker. Against the Irish Oak finish, the darker hardware creates a strong traditional contrast.
The finished entrance has plenty of individual character while benefiting from the strength, insulation and low maintenance of a modern composite door.
Matching Cornwall stable door
The second entrance uses the Cornwall stable door design in the same Irish Oak finish as the front door.
Stable doors offer the flexibility to open the upper section independently, making them a practical choice where extra ventilation is useful while the lower section remains closed.
Dorchester glass and the black Monkey Tail handle repeat the detailing used at the front of the property, tying the two installations together.
