For this home, the aim was to keep a traditional appearance while improving energy efficiency, security and everyday comfort. To achieve this, we supplied and fitted Rosewood-on-white uPVC windows with Astragal bars, combining the warm timber style on the outside with the practical benefits of modern uPVC on the inside.
The windows are fitted with A-rated double-glazed units, helping to reduce heat loss and improve insulation throughout the property. This helps create a more comfortable home while also supporting better energy efficiency.
Astragal bars were chosen to complement the character of the property, adding detail and helping create a traditional window appearance without sacrificing the benefits of modern glazing.

As part of the project, we also installed a composite front entrance door with an adjoining side panel. Composite doors are a popular choice for homeowners because they combine strength, insulation and durability in one product.
The new door provides excellent security while giving the front of the home a smart and welcoming appearance. The adjoining side panel also allows additional natural light into the entrance area.
