The first phase of the project involved the removal of the existing kitchen window and bricks below, referred to as a chop out.
This step aimed to create space for a new entrance feature, enabling easier access to the kitchen area.
We installed a beautiful Rosewood-on-white uPVC side entrance door with an adjoining window, chosen for its durability, energy efficiency, and easy upkeep.
One of the unique aspects of this project was accommodating the client's request for a cat flap in the newly installed door.
To fulfil this requirement, our team liaised closely with the client and coordinated with the appropriate suppliers to ensure the provision of a bespoke solution.
Specifically, we arranged for the fabrication of glass specially made to accommodate the client's unique cat flap, ensuring a seamless integration without compromising the door's structural integrity.
